Empower Women Asia is a project under the non-governmental organization KIBV (Keep It Beautiful Viet Nam), established in 2019 with the mission and goal of helping ethnic minority women and girls in traditional Vietnamese weaving villages stabilize their incomes through support in skill improvement, facilities, and market access for traditional hand-woven textile products.
Continuing the unfinished journey of “Se Gai Se Ganh 2023”, in 2024, Empower Women Asia persists in its efforts to support the establishment of a weaving cooperative for the H'Mong ethnic community in San Seo Ty village, Khau Vai commune, Ha Giang province. Additionally, the project supports promoting the image and value of hand-woven textiles and brocade to the world through the collaboration with the fashion brand La Pham.

With these aspirations, on November 17th, Empower Women Asia organized a workshop called “Xanh Gai Sanh Gong” with a diverse range of activities such as a panel discussion on sustainable fashion, a fashion show by designer La Pham, an exhibition of young designer Thach Thuy Tien's collection, and hands-on experiences of the stages of creating a traditional handicraft product, aiming to bring knowledge and practical experience about traditional weaving and brocade to the community.
COMAY is honored to be a sponsor and companion to Empower Women Asia on this meaningful journey.
